Coffin Turbo Pump is leveraging technology and expertise to improve the reliability of its pumps: we are proud to introduce the new Coffin Condition Monitoring System (CCMS) that can be retrofitted onto any of our existing feed pumps. This package allows for data collection, storage, trending and analysis of critical pump operating data. The system is totally configurable and can be engineered to meet your specific requirements. Several degrees of instrumentation packages are available depending on your installation site needs!
CTPI will provide optional monthly engineering report containing a condition analysis of the pump(s) and any recommended corrective action to be taken based on that analysis. The CCMS provides real-time condition monitoring based on wave envelope analysis for bearing condition assessment and includes a capability for alarm and trip functionality when condition parameters exceed pre-set limit criteria, either directly or through interface with a vessel’s/plant’s central control system. Recorded data is stored in the CCMS data monitoring and storage unit and on a removable memory card to allow for online or periodic data transfer to Coffin Turbo Pump’s product engineers for analysis. The system can even be installed and commissioned aboard underway vessels in service!
