CTPI Honors Our Veterans – Veteran’s Affairs Hospital Pump Delivery – Memorial Day 2022

This and every Memorial Day, Coffin Turbo Pump honors and thanks those who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.
In this same spirit, CTPI is happy to announce our recent Model IND boiler feed pump delivery to the James J. Peters Veteran’s Affairs Medical Center in Kingsbridge, Bronx, New York. We are thrilled to partner with the VA to support our nation’s finest, and keep James J.’s boiler plant up and running.
Coffin was approached a little over a year ago when the hospital’s boiler plant was in need for a new feed pump. One of their existing steam-turbine driven pumps had failed and the pump was removed from service, leaving the plant with only 2 out of 3 boilers operational. During the winter months the boiler plant reaches max capacity, utilizing steam across the hospital for processes such as sterilization and central heating. CTPI is currently working with the VA and mechanical contractor Fairfield Refrigeration to have this pump commissioned in the coming months so the hospital can be at full operation for the upcoming winter.
